Nicola Pithers
B.App.Sc. (Ex Phys), AEP, AES, ESSAM

Owner and Accredited Exercise Physiologist, Nicola is passionate about exercise across the lifespan and keeping active into older age. She also has a keen interest in cancer care and women’s health including pregnancy and endometriosis.
Nicola is currently completing a Masters of Exercise Medicine (Oncology)! Nicola holds a full studio pilates certification and has undertaken specific training in pre and post natal exercise.
She has been NSW and Australian representative in aerobic gymnastics. She is passionate about sport, athletic development and is still heavily involved in the gymnastic community.
Megan McCarthy
B.App.Sc. (Ex Phys), AEP, AES, ESSAM
Senior Accredited Exercise Physiologist, Megan is passionate about exercise and healthy living for people of all ages. Megan aims to enable people of all abilities to participate in safe and individualised physical activity.
Megan’s particular interests include promoting active living for older adults, injury rehabilitation and using exercise as treatment for chronic diseases such as arthritis and osteoporosis. She has also developed a passion for neurological conditions and using exercise to help improve people’s quality of life and physical function.
James Karagiannis
Accredited Exercise Physiologist, James is enthusiastic about exercise prescription for everyone regardless of age, gender or experience.
James is currently also studying his Masters of Physiotherapy, which will give him a more through understanding of both acute and chronic health conditions to assist in rehabilitation and ensure a return to daily activity and achieving personal goals.
James has represented his surf lifesaving club at state, national & international levels and will apply his dedication to training to ensuring optimal client outcomes.
Paige Phillips
Accredited Exercise Physiologist, Paige is passionate about healthy living and Exercise Prescription for people of all ages, abilities, and injuries. Paige is passionate about providing a quality service with a smile. She prides herself on making you feel confident and helping you work towards your goals. She has a particular interest in injury rehabilitation, disability services and using exercise as treatment for a variety of chronic conditions.
Outside the Active Studio you will find Paige playing league tag, basketball or simply enjoying a walk along the beaches of her hometown Wollongong.
Aaron Jullien
Accredited Exercise Physiologist Aaron, grew up playing cricket and skateboarding in his youth. During his studies he became interested in recreational strength training and discovered powerlifting and has since competed for 6 years.
He has a passion for helping those who are new to the gym as well as regular gym enthusiasts, to continue training when injured or make lifestyle changes for better health.
Aaron enjoys taking the principles of strength training he has learnt and using them to empower people with injury and illness.
Tess Carruthers
Accredited Exercise Physiologist, Tess is passionate about exercise and health across the lifespan. This enables her to help individuals make small changes and utilise new tactics to enhance their lifestyles and physical activity.
Tess is particularly interested in learning more about utilising exercise and educating her clients on Women’s Health, as well as how exercise can be used to help manage Neurological conditions.
Outside of The Active Studio, you will find Tess on the netball court, down at the beach or doing anything outdoors.

Meg Bracher
Meg is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist who is passionate about exercise and its ability to prevent and manage disease and injuries. She is dedicated to providing tailored exercise interventions that empowers individuals within their daily life for greater physical, emotional or mental wellbeing.  
Growing up in the Snowy Mountains, Meg participated in every local sport! Outside of The Active Studio you will find her socialising with friends, training in crossfit and supporting her fiancé who plays with the Cronulla Shark

Tijana Sharp
Tijana is an exercise scientist, currently completing her Honours in Sport and Exercise Science. She is particularly interested in functional training methods and is a strong advocate for exercise as medicine. 
Tijana grew up as a dancer and continues to stay active, encouraging those around her to exercise and pursue a healthy lifestyle. 
In her spare time, you will find Tijana out walking her dog or up-side down dreaming up new and creative exercises.
